Lots and lots of SNOW!

These two pictures are a result of being stuck in the house for two days! In the top picture she kept asking me to tie her scarf on so she could go shopping. And the second picture...I have no words...it's how I found her after being gone from the room for a few minutes. This is what I got when I asked her to smile!

Here's Chris attempting to dig us out...and below is what Chris decided to do after he got tired of shoveling. The result...a sweet igloo for Addie. The neighborhood kids are incredibly fond of our front yard now.

Halloween!

Addie got to enjoy her first halloween where she actually understood a little about what was going on. She was a little timid at first but slowly started to warm to the idea of strangers giving her candy. Here's a little pre-trick-or-treating glee.

The last couple months.

So it's been awhile since we last posted. I'll blame that on Addie. She's a crazy little munchkin. Here are some pictures of the last couple of months.
This is Addie and her best friend Keira. They hang out quite a bit.

Here she is with her friend August. We were thinking about a prearranged marriage, but he just moved across the country. Long distance relationships don't always work, especially when your telephone conversations consist only of hi and bye.

Addie's other best friend is her bunny. She doesn't like to go far with out "Munny" around.

While Mom and Dad were away...Addie learned the art of shopping the outlet malls with her Poppy and Gran. Here she is modeling one of her new dresses!

5 years!

Under the guise of visiting my family in New York over Memorial Day, Chris suprised me with a weekend away in the city for our 5 year anniversay. Here's a pic from our dinner out at The Modern...an incredible restaurant attached to the Museum of Modern Art. We had an awesome weekend...staying at a great hotel, seeing a Broadway show, and touring NYC...I have a wonderful husband!!

Snow Day!

We got about 8 inches of snow overnight! As you can see, Addie was less than thrilled to be 'playing' in the snow. She enjoyed being inside all snug in her snowflake pj's much better!
